IQS452 204-452-000-221 Signal Conditioner
The IQS452 204-452-000-221 is a signal conditioner for eddy current proximity (displacement) measurement systems. It provides a drive signal to the associated probe and processes the return signal to measure the gap (distance) between the probe and the metal target.
The IQS452 204-452-000-221 is designed for use with TQ 400 Series probes ,encapsulated in a potted aluminum extruded housing, and a variety of accessory housing options are available.

Function & Features：
- Modulation and Drive: The high-frequency modem within the IQS452 204-452-000-221 generates a drive signal that is transmitted to the paired TQ 400 series proximity probe. The probe generates an electromagnetic field based on the drive signal. When this electromagnetic field approaches a metal target (the object being measured), it generates eddy currents on the target surface.
- Distance Measurement: The strength of the eddy currents changes the parameters of the probe's internal circuitry. This change is proportional to the gap between the probe tip and the target.
- Signal Output: The IQS452 204-452-000-221 signal conditioner detects this change and converts it into a voltage or current output signal proportional to the target's dynamic motion. Modulation and Drive: The high-frequency modem within the IQS452 204-452-000-221 generates a drive signal that is transmitted to the paired TQ 400 series proximity probe.
