overview：
- Yokogawa's SCP45-51 processor modules are used to perform control algorithm calculations. There are SCP401 models for V net and SCP451 models for V net/IP.
- The lithium battery pack of the SCP45-51 module (located behind the front cover) is used to provide backup power for storage memory (such as system parameters, configuration data, etc.) in the event of a power failure to prevent the loss of key management information.
- Suitable for safety-critical applications (such as ESD emergency shutdown, combustion management system BMS, etc.) in accordance with IEC 61508/SIL standards.
- V net (traditional control network, corresponding model SCP401).
- Vnet/IP (modern network based on industrial Ethernet, corresponding model SCP451)
Fuctions & Features:
- Non-volatile Memory: SCP451-51 stores application programs and fixed logic (such as control programs) without battery backup, and data is permanently saved after power failure.
- Lithium battery backup: SCP451-51 is only used to maintain dynamic management information (such as real-time operating parameters, event logs, etc.) to ensure that the system can be quickly restored when power is interrupted.
- DIP switch: SCP451-51 is used to configure the domain number and station number to ensure the correct addressing of the module in the control network.
Applicable to:
- Safety interlock system (SIS), high-pressure pipeline protection.
- Linked with Yokogawa CENTUM VP/ProSafe-RS system.
