Bently Nevada 3300/65 dual-probe monitor is a composite vibration monitoring device for fluid membrane bearing equipment. The innovation of the 3300/65 monitor lies in its vector synthesis of two different types of vibration signals to obtain a single key parameter-the absolute vibration of the shaft.
The meaning of 3300/65 'dual probe' is that the monitor needs to process signals from two different types of sensors simultaneously:
1.Eddy current approach probe: Measures the vibration of a shaft relative to its bearing housing (relative vibration).
2.Velocity sensor: Measures the vibration of the bearing housing itself relative to free space (housing vibration).
Function & Features：
- Multi-signal integration and multi-dimensional measurement: The 3500/65 monitor fuses relative shaft displacement and housing vibration signals.The absolute vibration data of the shaft is output by vector summation, and four core parameters are provided independently: relative shaft vibration, bearing housing vibration, and average radial position of the shaft.
- Frequency option usage limitations: The 3500/65 monitor is not recommended for equipment with acceleration/deceleration rates exceeding 1000 rpm/s, as the 1 to 600 Hz (60 to 36000 cpm) option, due to its low-frequency range extending to 60 cpm, will retain transient vibration signals during rapid start-up/shutdown.
- Providing critical information: By offering four different measurements, the 3500/65 monitor provides maintenance personnel with a comprehensive perspective, enabling them to distinguish whether the problem originates from the rotor itself or from the foundation or bearing housing.
