B&K Vibro AS-022 Acceleration Sensor
Overview
B&K AS-022 is a vibration accelerometer based on the piezoelectric compression principle, designed for industrial vibration measurement. The piezoelectric ceramic disk (Piezoceramic Disk) and the mass block (Mass) form a spring-damper system to convert mechanical vibration into electrical signals, and output high signal-to-noise ratio signals through the built-in charge amplifier. It is suitable for high-frequency vibration monitoring and requires rigid installation to ensure measurement accuracy.
Function & Features
Piezoelectric technology and signal processing
- When vibrating, the mass block compresses the ceramic disk to generate charge, and the output signal is proportional to the acceleration.
- Built-in charge amplifier directly outputs high-level signals (such as ±5V), suitable for most data acquisition systems.
Rigid installation requirements
- Standard M8×14 or 1/4"-28 UNF threaded column, which needs to be fixed with threaded holes (depth ≥12 mm).
- The installation surface must be flat and smooth to avoid contact resonance.
Installation suggestions
- Apply silicone grease to reduce contact surface resonance.
- Use thread glue (such as LOCTITE) to prevent loosening.
- The maximum tightening torque must follow the specification (to prevent overloading of the ceramic disk)
