The SPC series servo position controller 8200-226 launched by Woodward, a global leading supplier with more than 130 years of experience in energy control solutions,This controller is an iterative upgrade of the 8200-224 and 8200-225 models. As the core hub connecting the higher-level control unit and the field actuators, the 8200-226 receives position demand signals and drives single-coil hydraulic or pneumatic actuators. The innovation of the 8200-226 lies in its ability to be used with either single-channel or dual-channel position feedback devices.
Supporting Service Tool: The SPC Service Tool provided with the controller is a comprehensive software platform that allows users to configure (set parameters), calibrate (match actuator feedback), and tune (optimize control parameters) the 8200-226. The built-in 'Configuration File Editor' in the toolkit is particularly noteworthy, enabling users to create and load new configuration files into the controller.When connecting the actuator for the first time, the required feedback sensor calibration process can be initiated either through the SPC Service Tool or via the higher-level control unit over a DeviceNet link.
