ABB CI532V02 MODBUS Communication Interface Module – Enhanced Serial Communication Capability For Advant Controller

ABB has launched the CI532V02 (3BSE003827R1) MODBUS communication interface module, specifi cally designed for the Advant Controller 450 and Advant Controller 410 series control systems. This module can be installed on the SC510, SC520, and SC530 submodule carriers (for Advant Controller 450) as well as on the PM150 processor module (for Advant Controller 410), providing MODBUS communication expansion for the control systems.

The ABB CI532V02 (3BSE003827R1) is a standardized MODBUS communication interface submodule that can be installed directly without any additional modification, perfectly matching the existing control system architecture. It minimizes system retrofit and commissioning costs, making it a key component for operational upgrades and spare-part replacements in existing Advant series control systems.

As an industrial-grade communication module, all connectors are located on the front of the module, enabling convenient wiring, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.

The ABB CI532V02 module features two fully independent RS-232-C communication interfaces, enabling simultaneous connection to two different MODBUS protocol devices. This allows dual-channel parallel data transmission, effectively enhancing system communication efficiency and preventing data delays caused by single-channel congestion.

The ABB CI532V02 (3BSE003827R1) is currently discontinued, and the manufacturer no longer accepts new orders. Available products on the market consist mainly of original stock and certified refurbished units. It is primarily used for maintenance and spare-part replacement in existing Advant 410/450 series control systems.
