GE IS220PAICH2A Analog I/O Module
Overview
The IS220PAICH2A is an analog I/O module within the GE Mark VIe architecture, belonging to the PAIC (Process Analog Input/Output Card) series. This module is used directly with a terminal board, with the load resistor for current input mode located on the terminal board. The IS220PAICH2A module acquires signals by measuring the voltage across this resistor. Inside the IS220PAICH2A module, there is a BPPx processor and a dedicated acquisition board for analog I/O functions.

- 10 Analog Input Channels: GE IS220PAICH2A has 10 analog input channels. The first 8 channels can be configured for ±5 V, ±10 V voltage input, or 4–20 mA current input. The remaining 2 channels support 1 mA or 4–20 mA current input, specifically for low-current signals.
- Data Communication: GE IS220PAICH2A sends and receives data to/from the controller via dual RJ-45 Ethernet connectors and connects directly to the associated terminal boards through these connectors.
