Overview
Yokogawa SEC401-11 is an ESB Bus Coupler Module used in Yokogawa's ProSafe-RS safety control system. It serves as an ESB (Enhanced Serial Backplane) bus coupler (master interface), establishing a data communication link between the safety controller (Safety Control Unit) and safety node units (including models such as the S2SC70, SSC60, and SSC50) located in remote cabinets. This module is typically installed in pairs (redundantly) in slots 7 and 8 of the safety controller.

- Bus Master Interface: The SEC401-11 is the ESB bus master interface, serving as the hub for data exchange between the Safety Control Unit and Safety Node Units (such as the SNB10D and SNT4 series, where = 01, 11, 21).
- Connection Capacity: The SEC401-11 can connect to up to 9 Safety Node Units (*1 Note: Only applicable to the SNB10D and SNT401, SNT411, and SNT421 models).
- Specialized Safety Control Unit: The SEC401-11 is designed for use with specific Safety Control Unit models (S2SC70, SSC60, and SSC50) and must be installed in pairs (two modules per set).
