Triconex 4351B Communication Module
Overview
The Triconex 4351B Communication Module (TCM) is a communication component designed for Tricon v10.0 and above systems. It enables the Tricon system to communicate with TriStation, other Tricon or Trident controllers, Modbus master and slave devices, and external hosts via Ethernet, and plays the role of a data exchange hub in the industrial automation control network, making it suitable for building complex industrial control system network architectures.
Function&Features：
Triconex 4351B
- 4351B is equipped with four serial ports, two network ports and one debug port (for Triconex only). The total data transmission rate of the four serial ports is 460.8 kilobits per second.
- 4351B uses the "alias" mechanism to map Tricon variables to Modbus addresses. The alias format is a 5-digit number (including Modbus message type and variable address), which must be completed through TriStation.
- It needs to occupy 2 logical slots (different models cannot be mixed in the same slot), and the total number of Modbus nodes is limited to 32 (including network and serial ports).
