ICS Triplex T8123 Processor Interface Adapter
Overview
ICS Triplex T8123 is a Trusted TMR Processor Interface Adapter that is installed on the rear of the Trusted controller chassis T8100. It connects to the active and standby processors through two 48-pin DIN41612 E-type connectors. The adapter provides communication between the Trusted TMR processor and the remote system and optionally supports IRIG-B time synchronization signal input.
🚀Function & Features
- The T8123 has three communication ports: Port 1 is RS422/RS485 two-wire, and Ports 2 and 3 are RS422/RS485 two-wire or four-wire.
- The T8123 clips directly to the corresponding connector on the rear of the controller chassis and features a release button. The adapter is housed in a metal enclosure.
- The T8123 provides fault/failure connections for the active and standby processors, as well as processor diagnostics connectors and power-off monitoring connections.
- Termination resistors for RS422/485 communication are link-selectable. These resistors are mounted on the printed circuit board and are the only configurable item required before using the adapter.
