GE IC200BEM003 is a VersaMax PLC network interface module that enables the VersaMax PLC to operate as a master or slave in a network. It supports DeviceNet (master/slave) and PROFIBUS-DP (slave) communication protocols, and the data transmission volume varies depending on the device used, allowing the VersaMax PLC to access an industrial network as a master or slave.

- DeviceNet: IC200BEM003 supports Master or Slave mode, suitable for device-level control networks.
- PROFIBUS-DP: IC200BEM003 supports Slave mode, compatible with standard PROFIBUS master devices.
- AS-i Master (optional): IC200BEM003 supports Actuator-Sensor Interface networks (specific models required).
(2) Data capacity
- VersaMax CPU configuration: Maximum 3584 bytes of input data + 3584 bytes of output data (global communication).
- PROFINET Network Slave (PNS) configuration: Maximum 1440 bytes of input data + 1440 bytes of output data.
- Each slave node: Maximum 244 bytes of input/output data (applicable to DeviceNet or PROFIBUS-DP slaves).
