GE IS220YAICS1A Safety Analog I/O Pack
GE IS220YAICS1A is a Safety Analog I/O Pack for the Mark Vie system. This module functions as the electrical interface between the I/O Ethernet network and the analog I/O terminal board, connecting one or two I/O Ethernet networks with the analog terminal board. The module is responsible for the conversion and transmission of data between field instrument signals and the system controller.
Note: The IS220YAICS1A and IS220YAICS1B are identical in input/output specifications (10 inputs, 2 outputs), interface types, and filter frequencies. The B version is often used as a compatible upgrade for the A version or as a designated model under specific safety levels.
Function & Features：
- Dual-core Architecture: The IS220YAICS1A includes a general-purpose processor board and a dedicated acquisition board for analog signal collection.
- Signal Conditioning: Input signals on the IS220YAICS1A first pass through a passive low-pass filter with a pole at 75.15 Hz to reduce noise.
- Analog-to-Digital Conversion: The IS220YAICS1A uses a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in combination with an analog multiplexer and a multi-stage gain/scaling selection circuit.
