Emerson A6824 ModBus and Rack Interface Module

Overview

Emerson A6824 ModBus and Rack Interface Module reads parameters from all AMS 6500 modules and outputs them via ModBus TCP/IP and/or ModBus RTU (serial). This 1-slot module can be used in conjunction with other AMS 6500 supervisors and can also power a local graphic display on the rack for reading machine and instrument information.

🚀Function & Features

The A6824 supports both ModBus TCP/IP (Ethernet) and ModBus RTU (serial) protocols, enabling dual protocols to build critical communication paths.

The A6824 aggregates and transmits all AMS 6500 monitoring parameters (vibration, temperature, displacement, etc.)

The A6824 connects to DeltaV™ and Ovation® DCS systems via the PlantWeb® architecture.

The A6824 powers the rack graphic display.
