EMERSON A6220 is a shaft eccentricity vibration monitoring module designed for critical rotating equipment (such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors and large hydraulic machinery), which is part of the AMS 6500 Machinery Health Monitoring System. The monitor monitors the shaft eccentricity, compares the vibration parameters with the alarm setting value, and can monitor the hardware status, power input, temperature, sensor and cable connection drive alarm and relay action in real time to protect the machinery.

- Emerson A6220 is a dual-channel, 3U single-slot module. Compared with traditional 6U four-channel cards, this module reduces cabinet space requirements by half.
- Both the front and rear ends of the Emerson A6220 provide buffered and proportional outputs, with output options of 0/4–20 mA and 0–10 V, allowing connection to various devices and facilitating signal transmission.
- Emerson A6220 works with 6422, 6423, 6424, and 6425 displacement sensors, CON XXX drivers, and critical monitoring modules for measuring shaft eccentricity. The non-contact displacement sensor installs in the bearing housing or bearing pedestal and aligns with the eccentric ring near the thrust bearing to measure shaft movement related to shaft bending at speeds below 600 rpm.
