ABB NDBU-95 3AFE64008366 Branching Unit

ABB NDBU-95 is a fiber optic branching unit designed for the DCS 600 MultiDrive series of thyristor power converters. It is used to configure and manage multi-drive systems in the DriveWindow software environment.

It supports 10 MBd optical transceivers, DriveWindow software support provides detailed configuration instructions for setting the parameters and network topology of the NDBU-95 branching unit.

Note:

• Do not mix 5 MBd and 10 MBd fiber optic components, otherwise it will cause communication failure.

• When using 5 MBd, the optical fiber must be plastic (POF).

• The NDBU-95 interface is physically compatible with 5 MBd fiber optic components (such as the ACS 600 series), but they cannot be mixed (5 MBd is limited to plastic optical fiber POF).

• The NDBU-95 connects multiple DCS 600 drives through a fiber optic network for monitoring and configuration.

• Installation, operation and maintenance must follow the DCS 600 safety guidelines to avoid personal injury or equipment damage (such as motor or converter failure).
