overview：
ABB TU890 3BSC690075R1 is a compact module terminal unit (MTU) for S800 I/O. As a passive unit, it is mainly responsible for connecting field wiring, connecting power to I/O modules, and is also part of the ModuleBus. The TU891 model of TU890 is equipped with gray terminals for connecting field signals and process voltages. The maximum rated voltage per channel is 50V and the maximum rated current is 2A, but the specific values are limited by the I/O module design and certification application.
This MTU can distribute the ModuleBus to the I/O module and the next MTU, and generate the correct address for the I/O module by moving the outgoing position signal to the next MTU, ensuring stable and orderly communication and data transmission between modules, playing a key role in fields such as automation control.
