ABB CI867K01 Modbus TCP Interface is a communication interface module designed for industrial automation systems. The product mainly consists of two parts: CI867 communication interface module and TP867 baseboard. The former is specifically used for Modbus TCP communication, while the latter provides a physical installation solution for CI867. It enables devices such as controllers and I/O modules to communicate with other systems according to the Modbus TCP standard.

- Protocol universality: Modbus TCP is one of the mainstream communication protocols in the industrial field. ABB CI867K01 supports this protocol, which enables it to connect with a large number of devices and systems that have adopted the Modbus TCP standard. For devices produced by different manufacturers that follow the Modbus TCP protocol, this module can be effectively universal.
- Environmental compliance: ABB CI867K01 complies with the EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU), which means that it strictly restricts the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in the production process.
- Module installation: First, install the ABB CI867K01 communication interface module on the TP867 base plate. The TP867 base plate provides physical support and electrical connection for the ABB CI867K01.
- Protocol identification: The ABB CI867K01 module has a built-in parsing program for the Modbus TCP protocol. When the module is powered on and connected to the network, it will automatically identify the communication format and rules of the Modbus TCP protocol.
