Yokogawa CP471-00 Processor Module

Overview：

CP471-00 is a processor module in Yokogawa CENTUM VP distributed control system (DCS), dedicated to field control station (FCS).

CP471-00 runs on CENTUM VP R6.05 or higher field control station control function software, and can only be installed on specific CENTUM field control units.

In a duplex field control unit, two CP471s can be configured in dual-redundancy, and users can replace CP471s in dual-redundancy configuration online.

Yokogawa CP471-00

Dual redundancy:

Supports configuration of dual CP471 modules in dual redundant field control units.
Allows users to perform online replacement (hot swap) to reduce downtime.

Upgrade restrictions:

Only applicable to field control station functions of CENTUM VP R6.05 or higher.
Cannot be mixed with old model CP461:
The matching ESB bus coupling module EC401 must be S3 or later.
After upgrading to CP471, it is not possible to roll back to CP461.
