- Speed Matching: The Woodward 9907-028 Synchronizer monitors the speed of the generator in real time, keeping an eye on the generator's operating status. Once the generator frequency is found to be inconsistent with the grid or other generators, the generator speed will be adjusted quickly.
- Phase Matching: In addition to the key function of speed regulation, the Woodward 9907-028 Synchronizer also has a phase angle matching function, which can automatically adjust the generator's phase angle during operation.
- Signal Conditioning: The 9907-028 receives voltage inputs from the busbar and the generator, and conditions these signals. The phase offset potentiometer is used to compensate for phase errors that may be caused by external transformers.
