Woodward 8444-1092 is a multifunction relay/measuring transducer with CANopen/Modbus communication for single-phase and three-phase power systems. The 8444-1092 device is equipped with 3 true RMS voltage inputs and 3 true RMS current inputs, relying on a digital processor for measurement. Based on the collected raw electrical quantities, key parameters such as active power, reactive power, apparent power, and power factor can be calculated.
Function & Features：
- Core Protection: Woodward 8444-1092 is used for fault ride-through monitoring and can be configured with up to 4 independent low-voltage monitoring functions, the power generation system stays connected to the grid during sudden voltage drops.
- 4 Configurable Relays: The Woodward 8444-1092 can trigger actions based on set thresholds (such as overvoltage, undervoltage, overfrequency, underfrequency, etc.). Each alarm point can be independently set with a delay (ranging from 0.02 seconds to 300 seconds).
- True RMS Measurement: The Woodward 8444-1092 is not affected by grid harmonics, transients, or pulses, providing accurate electrical parameters.
