Overview
Woodward 5464-213 is a Netcon Serial I/O Module based on the Motorola 68030 processor. This module manages four independent serial communication ports and is responsible for handling data communication between the ports and the VME bus and the module is equipped with a 4KB dual-port RAM and a 64KB PROM.

- Serial Port Configuration: The 5464-213 module has a total of 4 ports. Ports A/B support only the RS-232 protocol, while ports C/D support RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 protocols.
- Memory: The 5464-213 module supports 4 KB of dual-port RAM (for fast data sharing with the VME bus) and 64 KB of PROM (for storing firmware and configuration programs).
- Baud Rate Configuration: The 5464-213 module supports user-configurable baud rates. When using high speeds of 38.4 Kbaud or 57.6 Kbaud on ports C and D, both ports must be set to the same baud rate.
