overview：
GSI130 244-130-000-204 is a galvanic isolation unit. The GSI 130 is used to power sensors and conditioners and to read their signals in two-wire transmission systems. More generally, it can be used to power any electronic system that consumes less than 20 mA. The unit outputs a voltage signal proportional to the current consumed by the conditioner and can be used directly to analyze the conditioner signal.
The GSI 130 module avoids problems caused by voltage differences (such as ground loops) between the measurement point and the signal processing. The GSI 130 version 20x complies with the CENELEC and CSA standards for powering sensors and conditioners installed in explosive areas. The use of the GSI 130 eliminates the need for Zener diode safety barriers, avoids additional voltage drops, and does not limit the transmission line length and the system dynamic range.
