- Chassis Structure: The CPCHAS-0001 chassis features an open front for easy module insertion and removal, and a rear cover for protection. The interior includes upper and lower module guides to facilitate proper module alignment during installation.
- Slot and Occupancy Management: In non-redundant configurations, vacant slots are blocked using BLIND-CPS blanking panels. Each quad-core processor group reserves two communication module slots; a single communication module occupies the COM1 slot, while the remaining communication slot is fitted with a BLIND-COM blanking panel.
- Associated Components: The CPCHAS-0001 chassis integrates a dedicated controller enclosure with the CPB-0001 controller backplane, forming a complete controller installation unit.
