Overview

 

Honeywell 10201/2/1 Fail-Safe Digital Output Module is an 8-channel fail-safe digital output module that provides 24V DC/550 mA drive capability and can drive loads up to 13W, including resistive loads (such as lamps) and inductive loads (such as solenoid solenoids). For inductive loads, each output channel has a built-in suppression diode, and all output sections including the suppression diode are fully tested.

 

🚀Function & Features

 
  • Safety Test: During the configured process safety time, the 10201/2/1 performs multiple tests on the outputs, including output power-off capability, group power-off capability through secondary means, crosstalk between outputs, and the function of suppression diodes.

 

  • Secondary Power-off Mechanism: The secondary power-off method enables the watchdog and/or processor to force the output power-off, independent of the application function results.

 

  • Power Connection Requirements: To avoid fault detection errors during the self-test of the output module, the internal and external power supplies of 24Vdc need to be connected as required (involving pins d8, z8, d30/z30 and d32/z32).
