Overview

GE IC200MDL650 is a 32-point 24 V DC discrete input module in the VersaMax series. The module transmits discrete signals, such as push buttons and limit switches, to the programmable controller's CPU or NIU, including signals from proximity sensors. The module provides 4 groups, each with 8 input points, for a total of 32 input points. Each input group can be independently configured as either positive logic (sourcing input) or negative logic (sinking input).

Note: The negative logic function requires the IC200MDL650C module or a later version.

32-Point Group Design:The IC200MDL650 module is divided into 4 groups × 8 channels, with each group independently configurable as either positive logic or negative logic.

Positive Logic: The input device supplies power to the module, and current returns to the common terminal (Common).

Negative Logic (requires IC200MDL650C+): The module common terminal supplies power to the input device, and current returns to the module.

Power and Processing: The IC200MDL650 module receives power through the backplane. Intelligent processing is performed by the CPU or NIU, providing 32-bit discrete input data.
