Overview
GE IS220PSCAH1A Mark Vie series Serial Modbus Communication I/O Module acts as a gateway between the controller and external devices supporting the Modbus RTU protocol. It allows GE turbine control systems to exchange data with third-party devices.
It can be used to communicate with third-party controllers for auxiliary equipment such as boiler feedwater pumps, condensers, and excitation systems. Alternatively, it can connect to gas analyzers, vibration monitoring systems, and valve positioners in compressor trains.

- Hot-Switch: The GE IS220PSCAH1A's soft-start and current-limiting features allow direct plugging and unplugging of the power connector while the power is still on (without first disconnecting the mains).
