Overview
GE IS200EXAMG1BAA is an excitation attenuation module (EXAM) designed specifically for the EX2100e excitation system. It plays a key role in the entire system and is installed in the high-voltage interface module (HVI), located in the auxiliary cabinet. It is connected to the excitation ground detection module (EGDM) through the excitation power backplane (EPBP). Only one module is required in both single-channel and triple-redundant system configurations, and the interconnection with other parts of the system remains consistent in different configurations.
