GE IS200EXAMG1AAB is an Exciter Attenuation Module manufactured by General Electric (GE) as part of the EX2100 Series for Excitation turbine control systems.It is an integral component that works in tandem with the Exciter Ground Detector Module (IS200EGDM or EGDM) to form the ground detection system within the EX2100 Excitation Control system.
Fuctions & Features:
- High Voltage Attenuation:GE IS200EXAMG1A reduces high voltage from the field excitation system (bridge) to a manageable level.Provides attenuation between the field bus and the Exciter Ground Detector Module (EGDM).
- System Integration:GE IS200EXAMG1A installed within the High Voltage Interface (HVI) module in the auxiliary cabinet.
- Field Voltage and Power Capacities:GE IS200EXAMG1A handles field voltage (Vbus+ and Vbus−) ranging from 125 V DC to 1000 V DC.
- Field Ground Test Activation:The EGDM controls a relay on the EXAM to activate the field ground test and master selection.
