Overview
GE IS200EHPAG1A (IS200EHPAG1AAA and IS200EHPAG1ACB) is a gate pulse amplifier card designed for the EX2100 excitation control system. The card plays a key role in amplifying the low power gate trigger signals from the control system and transmitting them to the power semiconductor devices such as thyristors (SCRs) or IGBTs (insulated gate bipolar transistors) in the high power rectifier or inverter. As the key interface between the power bridge and the ESEL controller, the board is responsible for controlling the firing pulses of the 6 SCRs (silicon controlled rectifiers).

- Power management: GE IS200EHPAG1A inputs 125V DC (from EPDM), with built-in DC/DC converter to trigger SCR voltage.
- SCR trigger control: GE IS200EHPAG1A receives gate commands from ESEL to control the conduction timing of 6 SCRs.
- Environmental monitoring: GE IS200EHPAG1A monitors power bridge airflow and temperature, triggering abnormal alarms (such as fan stall/overheating).
- LED status indication: power supply, SCR trigger signal (Gate Command), Bridge Current, fault alarm
