Q: Can IC670GBI002 be installed next to an A-version I/O terminal block?
A: Absolutely not! The BIU terminal block has a metal grounding plate at the bottom, which requires an I/O terminal block with a grounding plate. A-version terminal blocks do not have a grounding plate. Mixing these blocks will severely degrade system noise immunity. Please verify the version of the I/O terminal block before installation.
Q: What does the terminal block of IC670GBI002 look like?
A: The BIU is installed on a separate bus interface unit terminal block, and all power and bus wiring are connected to this terminal block.
Q: How much space should be reserved for field wiring of IC670GBI002?
A:On the wiring side of the BIU, leave at least 4.25 inches (approximately 10.8 cm) from the wire duct or other obstacles. More space is required if the wiring of the I/O modules is relatively stiff.
