GE STS-230-100-2 RM Static Transfer Switch
GE STS-230-100-2 RM is a digital energy rack-mount static transfer switch that enables rapid, automatic switching between two independent AC power sources (e.g., primary and backup), providing power to devices sensitive to power outages. This product can be used in data centers, communications networks, financial systems, and more. Its "static" designation means that the switching process is accomplished using semiconductor devices (such as thyristors) without mechanical action, resulting in extremely fast switching speeds (typically in milliseconds), enabling loads to switch without noticing power outages.
Note: This product must be used in a controlled indoor environment, protected from conductive contaminants and animals, and maintained at an ambient temperature not exceeding 40°C (104°F).

- Fast Switching: Unlike traditional automatic transfer switches (ATS), the STS-230-100-2 static transfer switch offers extremely fast load switching, typically completing the task within 4ms. This eliminates the operational delays and arcing issues associated with mechanical switches.

- Neutral Overload: The STS-230-100-2 features a 200% neutral overload capacity, allowing for unbalanced three-phase loads.
- Transport Protection: The STS-230-100-2 must be transported in a container truck with shock-absorbing protection and secured to the truck wall.
