Bently Nevada 3500/42M 140482-01 Prox/Velom I/O Module is a key component in the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System and is specifically designed for vibration (Proximitor) and speed (Velom) monitoring. It is designed specifically for speed monitoring of rotating machinery in industrial applications. The module is equipped with external terminals to allow field wiring. The external terminal design ensures safe and quick disconnection and reconnection of sensors and devices during upgrades or repairs.
Fuctions & Features:
- Basic functions: Supports both vibration monitoring (Proximitor) and speed monitoring (Velom), and can receive vibration signals from Proximitor® sensors and speed signals from speed sensors.
- Fault identification: Provides accurate shaft vibration (displacement) and speed data to help identify mechanical faults (such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing wear, etc.).
- Signal processing: Supports Keyphasor® signal input for phase reference and vibration analysis. Filters, amplifies and conditions the input signal. Supports dynamic range adjustment to adapt to the output signals of different sensors.
