Bently Nevada 330730-040-00-00 11mm extension cable is a key component of the 3300 XL 11mm eddy current sensor system, designed for non-contact vibration and displacement measurement of fluid film bearing machinery. The system consists of an 11mm probe, extension cable, and proximity sensor. Compared with the 8mm system, it has a longer linear measurement range and is suitable for precision measurement scenarios such as turbine axial displacement and compressor piston rod position. The cable has clear center conductor and coaxial conductor resistance specifications, making it an ideal choice for upgrading traditional monitoring systems.

- Longer Linear Range: The 11 mm probe enables a longer linear range compared to the 8 mm version, which makes it suitable for precise measurements in challenging applications such as:
- Axial (thrust) position measurements
- Ramp differential expansion on steam turbines
- Rod position or rod drop on reciprocating compressors
- Tachometer and zero-speed measurements
- Phase reference (Keyphasor) signals
- Upgrading from 7200-Series: This system can replace the older 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm transducers, but a full upgrade of components and possible monitoring system modifications is required.
- Connector Technology:ClickLoc Connectors: Gold-plated brass connectors that lock into place to ensure a secure connection and prevent looseness.
- CableLoc Design: Ensures high pull strength (330 N or 75 lb) for cable attachment.
- Cable Resistance and Field Wiring:Resistance Specifications: Provides details for center conductor and coaxial conductor resistance, varying with cable length.
- Field Wiring Requirements: Suggests using shielded triad cables of certain gauge sizes, with a maximum cable length of 305 meters (1000 feet) between the sensor and monitor.
