ABB 70AB01C-ES HESG447224R2 Output Module
Overview
The ABB 70AB01C-ES (HESG447224R2) is an output module for the Procontrol P13 system. This new digital output module series is primarily designed to drive electronic inputs, relays, and indicators to external devices.
At its core, the 70AB01C-ES features a custom local bus UART and digital signal processing engine, providing 16 internally powered outputs for driving input cards, indicators, relays, or as normally open relay outputs. Configuration of each module is accomplished via the front panel configuration port and the P13 Configurator software.

- Channel Management: The ABB 70AB01C-ES can individually disable any output channel via software.
- Address Range Support: Unlike older modules, the ABB 70AB01C-ES module can use the full address range of the local bus (both normal and special addresses).
- Configuration Connection: The ABB 70AB01C-ES features a front-mounted configuration port that connects to an engineer's laptop using either a serial (DB9) or USB configuration cable.
