overview：
ABB DO821 is an 8-channel 230V AC/DC relay (normally closed) output module for S800 I/O. Its maximum output voltage is 250V AC and the maximum continuous output current is 3A. All outputs are individually isolated, and each output channel contains an optical isolation barrier, output status indication LED, relay driver, relay and electromagnetic compatibility protection components. The relay supply voltage is monitored by the 24V power supply on the ModuleBus. If the voltage disappears, an error signal will be given and the warning LED will light up. The error signal can be read through the ModuleBus, and this monitoring function can be enabled or disabled through parameters.

- With 8 channels, it can be used to control 8 different loads, suitable for application scenarios that require multiple output control.
- Supports 230V AC/DC input, which can adapt to different power supply environments.
- The 8 channels are isolated from each other and from the circuit common.
- Each channel has an output status indication LED, which makes it easy for users to understand the working status of each channel, facilitate troubleshooting and system monitoring.
- With OSP (Output Signal Processing) function, the output can be set to a predetermined state when an error is detected.
- Current limitation can be performed through MTU (Master Terminal Unit), which helps protect the module and external load from overcurrent damage.
