- External channel error: The ABB AO815 reports this error if the process power supply is insufficient or the output current is below the setpoint (when the setpoint exceeds 1 mA).
- Internal channel error: The ABB AO815 triggers this error if the output circuit cannot provide the correct current value.
- Module error: The ABB AO815 reports this error when a variety of faults occur, including output transistor errors, short circuits, checksum errors, internal power supply problems, or watchdog errors.
- HART pass-through communication: The ABB AO815 supports HART pass-through for field communication, allowing communication with HART-enabled devices. Note that only point-to-point communication is supported and the output filter must be enabled for the HART channel.
