ABB VPM810 Valve Positioner
ABB VPM810 Valve Positioner is a professional valve positioning control unit supporting the Profibus interface. The unit can be mounted on a System 800xA system or any controller with a Profibus interface. The device is mainly used for closed-loop position regulation of hydraulic actuators. The positioner achieves adjustment of the hydraulic actuator through a servo valve or I/H converter and can be applied to turbine machinery valve control with high position control requirements.

Function & Features：
- Closed-Loop Position Control: ABB VPM810 receives the position command from the main controller and the LVDT position feedback, forming a closed-loop regulation. The valve action speed is adjusted through proportional (P) and integral (I) parameters.
- I/H Converter Mode: ABB VPM810 directly maps the demand signal to a voltage output linearly, using open-loop control. This mode is suitable for driving linear positioning devices, such as I/H converters.
- Inner-Outer Loop Control Mode: ABB VPM810 uses cascade PI control, utilizing two feedback devices (pilot valve position and main valve position) to form a complete closed loop.
